njc I can change the password only to this new account. I could not open it to the old one for 5 mounths.I could not use my email addresss. It just gave me an error code. I had to open a yahoo account just to get this new one. If you cannot contact anyone you cannot get the help to do so. Changing the password to this new one serves no purpose. I have been on this site since 2004 and most know me. I am just glad to be back but something here needs to be changed. It is very frustrating to say the least

Gator, I will be living in Medellin permanently. I am retired now and just came back to the states to tie up some loose ends but will be returning within three weeks to stay. I am married and have a family in Medellin. I have been offered a position teaching English so there may be a point in time I will teach at one of the Universities but for now just retired.

Pharris13 I just rented a 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment on the 8th floor, swimming pool, Gym, party room, maid service and all bills encluded in POBLADO for $1200,000.00. I paid a commission and one months in advance only. There are plenty of apartments there if you take the time to look/ $900,000.00 for a room is a bit costly I think but good luck in renting it out.

makopp5 I have never had to have a visa to travel to Colombia and my passport stamp pages are about used up.

Rikito I post this type of question about a year ago and got all the nasties you can get. The bottom line is that cremation is the best. I priced it around $390.00 USD at the time. Read between the lines here and you will get the information you desire

I don't know if you have to stay where you are staying but I stayed at the Acaravan Hotel when I was looking for my casa. It was extreamly clean, you can put your things at the desk and they will secure it for you. Great service, great food, 6th floor has a great view of Poblado with pool table, music. bar and hot tub for $24.00 per night. You may want to try it if you are worried about your lap top.Even has an elevator and the room are large

Will someone here please tell me exactly what is needed to get a Cedula. Is it needed if you are not going to work in Colombia? Sonny
