Simon comments on "It is nice to see the sex tourist and backpackers getting squeezed out. Medellin is really too nice of a city to be full of poor foreigners." My thoughts exactly!

Lol! BTW, it's a 'Colombian joke', not Spanish.

Simon comments on THANK YOU GUYS! Like Shakira once said, Colombia is that ugly duckling that never gets invited to any parties. Well, that ugly duck is finally beginning to transform into a golden goose and we can't let anything get in the way of that!
Simon comments on 1000 Tombs Discovered in Bogota (Natl Geo article) Interesting article, thanks for sharing it. It's nice to see National Geographic finally publish something non drug-related about Colombia.
Simon comments on THANK YOU GUYS! I'm glad we're acceptng new memebrs once again. And to Romy's joy, I know about 50 Uribistas who want to join!

Simon comments on Making changes Hey, if it's not too much trouble, how about adding some yellow, blue, and red in here somewhere since this is a website about Colombia.

Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) "To me it's ignorant to suggest someone sounds gay, but that's me." Is it ignorant to suggest someone sounds like an asshole?
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) "This is why i can´t understand why you would get upset over someone saying someone "sounds really gay", it´s a fact. Now, if someone said..He sounds like a f0OKin fag, now, that would be offensive." Paulr, you're the man!
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) "because there are no FARC sympathizers here..." Oh really? Then how about Buggy?
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) "I´m sure Simon isn´t a homophobe and you must be blind to the fact that Gay people have certain mannerisms and one of those mannerisms happens to be that they speak a little differently, no matter what language they speak and THAT is a fact." THANK YOU!!! If only others were as understanding as you!
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) Hey romy, how come you don't go after the Farc sympathizers with the same intensity? Hmmm?
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) Many gay men do have en effiminate way of speaking, dude, that's a fact. Just think of Hugo Lombardi from 'Betty la Fea' or Andy Warhol or Michael Musto from the Village Voice. Why are you being so obnoxious about this?
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) romy....salga del closet! I'm not being "judgmental" because I didn't say anything about what I think about gays, assuming he is. I'm making a conjecture! Now when I say that the Farc and Paramilitaries are evil POS who need to be destroyed, then hell yes, I'm being judgmental!!
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) How the hell am I oppresiing someone by saying they "sound gay"? Am I oppressing someone if i say they sound Colombian? Typical anti-Uribista.....'fastidioso' as hell!!
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) Romy, it's based on how he talks, he just sounds like a gay guy. Usted porque se ofendió tanto? Eres gay también? No le de miedo admitirlo.
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) romy, I was just making an observation. I could care less if the guy is gay!
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) "Simon continues to show ignorance on all fronts." Hey Romy, so do you love it that gringos only associate Colombia with cocaine? Do you think it's "ignorance" to reject that stereotype? Colombiano chiviado!!
Simon comments on Letter from Bill Gates to Alvaro Uribe Then Carlos Slim would just buy it right back!
Simon comments on Letter from Bill Gates to Alvaro Uribe Wow, Bill Gates can really write well in Spanish!
Simon comments on Flowers and Free Trade (NY Times video story) "Yes Colombia, much better known for cocaine." Can't americans ever get cocaine out of their heads? And that reporter sounds really gay.

Simon comments on Anyone know of any Mansions available for rent in Medellin I'd let you use mine, but P. Diddy already got it.
Simon comments on Wow Peso up a bit Kat, maybe it's about time some Colombians stopped depending so much on those who live abroad. I've heard of cases of some lazy fokin people who have even stopped working altogether because they are just fine living on what their hard-working relatives in the US send them.
Simon comments on Wow Peso up a bit None, because there's no Mexicans where I live. Pedro, how many times did you fok a kangaroo before discovering you could just buy it from young, impoverished Colombian girls?
Simon comments on Wow Peso up a bit It's good for Colombian importers and Colombian tourists. It's definitely not good for sex-tourist, foreign losers who have to come to Colombia to get laid!

Simon comments on Robi said wierdness yesterday............. Well, there were 3 Irishmen who were with the FARC.
Simon comments on Robi said wierdness yesterday............. You left out Buggy. Oh wait, he's French!
Simon comments on Robi said wierdness yesterday............. Yeah, I would have loved to see set your feet on the Farallones by Jamundí or on the road leading to Kilometro 18 just a few years ago. The FARC (the bad guys, ICYDK) pretty much controlled everything from the Cabaña restaurant and upward.
Simon comments on Robi said wierdness yesterday............. "I don't know if I dare to set my foot in Colombia again after all the stuff I've said here about Uribe and paracos......shaking...." It's thanks to Uribe that you can set your foot in many parts of Colombia in which you couldn't just five years ago! No sea malagradecida!
Simon comments on Movie About Colombia's Beginings Great topic Rikito, that's funny, I've also thought similar things while watching 'The Patriot'....I like how you think! There was a series on Caracol TV Internacional a few years ago about Colombian history but I can't recall what it was called, something like 'Reviviendo Nuestra Historia'. It did feature all of the founding fathers you mentioned. I dream of one day seeing a high-budget, sweeping, epic movie about Bolivar. That would be awesome!

Simon comments on Alejandro Fernández I believe Alejandro's ex-wife was a caleña named 'America'. And yes, that guy gets plenty of poontang!
