Sunrise Beach in San Andres?

Hello. We are traveling to San Andres soon (if they let us in Colombia!), and are staying at the Sunrise Beach. We've read some pretty bad reviews, but wondered if anyone around here has been there fairly recently. If that's the case (or you if you know someone who's been there recently) what did you think? Even if it sucks, it's a done deal that we are staying there (it's a present), but just feel kind of curious about what to expect. Any recommendations for things to do in the Islan ...

AOS Interview in Portland... good!

Hello everyone

We had our AOS interview today and it went really well.

We arrived at 9:40 for our 10:15 appointment. At 10:15 the interviewer took us to his office and there he made us swear we weren't going to say lies.

He asked us:

- How we met
- How was the wedding
- Dates of the wedding
- If I had been out of the country since the wedding.
- If I didn't belong to the comunist party, etc etc.

Thanks!!

Silvia ...

Is Ds-157 required for a K-1?

I just saw this page
http://bogota.usembassy.gov/wwwsc182.shtml

And I was wondering if any of those who already went through the interview and had visas approved were required this?

Thanks!

Silvia. ...

My fiance and I are coming to Colombia in a couple months, I havent been living there for the last 2 years and I would really like take him to the area sorrounding bogota, like zipaquira... ufff villa de leiva (I dont remember if its that close), etc.

Colombian women aren't pets or items you buy in the supermarket.

Hi

I am a colombian women happily engaged to an american men with the one I have the most beautiful, loving and respectful relationship.

We do like this website a lot, here we have find a lot information that have been very useful for us, but we also have seen a lot of posts talking about colombian women in a very cold and shameful way.

In my opinion a man who gets to a poor country with the idea of getting a girl who just wants to be with him becaus ...

How long will it take to get an interview date for my K-1?

Hello

My fiance is american and we are just about to start our K1 visa process now that we finally have finished all the paperwork.

Since a lot of people are travelling to the US for our wedding we need to set a final date.

We first thought September 17 would be good, but we have read a lot of pessimistic information about the visa process taking around 9 months or more, in which case we wouldnt be able to do it that day or any time in September for t ...
