SHBLatin comments on Starting AOS and confused about the I-693 Sorry but still no go... I am getting pissed off at these so called civil surgeons. I have called many here and they say it will require a full exam at about $150+. She had a full exam less that 5 month ago and this paperwork is in some USCIS black hole... Who knows where this stuff goes....

SHBLatin comments on Temperatures and Central Heating in Bogota Forget the cenral heating! I do not care about central heating. What really amazes me is that my novia takes a cold shower even though she has a hot water heater!!!!(she does not turn it on) Taking a cold shower does not even phase her. I would be screaming like I just fell out of an airplane.!!!! I can not do it. I force her to turn on the water heater for me.

SHBLatin comments on DON"T PAY A LAWYER! I am in the middle of the K1 process right now and believe me that it is not hard if you can follow directions and fill out forms. Plus there are all kinds of support in the internet like here and other sites where you can post question and actually get answers from people who are there and have been there. The best ones I found is this site and www.visajourney.com.

SHBLatin comments on The dumb, ignorant, funny questions you've been asked about Colombia Pepsi in America? I was chatting online with my novia one day and I was drinking a Pepsi. My novia (she lives in Bogota) and I were using webcams and she asked what I was drinking. I told her I was drinking a Pepsi. She asked "How did you get that?". And I said "at the store." and she said "They sell Pespi there in America!?!?"

SHBLatin comments on Local (bad) news In Bogota Last week When I in the airport last week, I saw this black guy who was dressed just like here in the US. He wore a pantyhose thing on his head, a basketball jersey, Big baggy pants that showed his underwear and bunched up around his feet. Very US "In the Hood". I have never seen so many colombians in shock. They did not know how to react to this. The police or military there were nervous!
