I hope you´re right ferran. It´s long overdue and it must happen in order for this earth and by extension, humanity, to survive. However it´s scary to see how much power the multinationals have. One needn't look further than the posts on this board to see how powerful and persuasive their propaganda and agenda is. Boy, this is just great! Now when we get another rabid right-wing president in the U.S. we'll be in perfect position to actively (but secretly) take sides again, thus engaging ourselves in another "none of our business" conflict while creating tons of animosity towards ourselves as occurred in El Salvador and Nicaragua. My girlfriend lives in Tuluá. I totally love the place. It has a large river that runs right through the center of it with a beautiful greenbelt on both sides. It's very clean and green in my opinion. It's smallish enough that you can walk just about everywhere which I also liked. People are friendly. Women are gorgeous. I'd like to live there. Thumbs up from me!

So what´s the answer going to be? Capitalism creates great wealth (mostly for a handful of greedy rich people) and will eventually implode and kill us all through it's demonic drive to devour more resources and cheaper labor. On the other hand, socialism doesn't offer the incentives needed for people to bust ass and make things work. There has to be another way . . . I mean really. If we hope to last a beyond a couple of more generations we need a better system. Any suggestions?
