While you are writing one ticket you would see 50 other violations. Of every country I have been in the US by far has the best and safest drivers. And Colombia is by no means the worst….

I use National Interbank. You can open an account online. No international transfer fees. It will even reimburse you if the ATM you use charges you a fee. It is completely free. GS.. I think its only true that you can transport a wheelchare free if you are in need of it for yourself. My wife and myself had to pay $25 as it was concidered an extra bag as neilther of us phisically needed the wheelchair. I think it was Contenental we flew that trip.

To this point everything has been totally by donation or at the individuals expense. I know myself and several others bought wheelchairs and walkers and paid the airlines to take them down. Jonas donated his time and traveling expenses to pick them up and deliver them to the recipients. No offence bushwick, but I think before anyone is sending money to an avatar on the internet we need to know something about the person. Anyone can say send me the money and I will help.

Juepaje... You are correct the $ is circling the toilet. I agree SS may be worthless in the future. Unfortunately this will apply to most pensions also. Instead of having 1 source of income that is worthless I will have 2 sources that are worthless. You work hard all your life preparing for a comfortable retirement and when retirement is within site they pull the rug out from under you by policies that devalue the dollar.

Simon... Do you ever really watch Lou Dobbs or just go by what others say he said? I find many that have a problem with commentator’s base that strictly on hearsay and never watch them due to a preconceived notion of who they are and what there beliefs are. Unless I missed something he only advocates that we have legal immigration. How does being in favor of legal immigration make you a racist? I also am for legal immigration... We don’t need and cant afford millions of people sneaking into the country.. But I blame that on our politicians not the sneakers. I am NOT in favor of any immigration reform here until they seal the border, or at least take seriously the problem of people freely strolling across the border when and where they want. I would then be willing to look at the ones here and negotiate on what there status should be. (I do have opinions on that for another discussion.) I do not conceder Mexico an enemy of the US but they are not acting as a friend when they are promoting illegal immigration to the US to there citizens. In a time when we cant afford to pay for what we have for our own people, we cant be subsidizing and supporting other countries that can not manage there own affairs.

Catfish... Interesting, last I knew and read, it was impassable and there are articals of people trying to pass it and it took like 60 days to cover 20 miles. Those were older articles. Maybe as more have tried they have a primitive trail through a spot? I knew there is no modern road or even a dirt road and from the look of his motorcycle I don’t think he will be driving through. jajaja I would have to opt for the ferry. I would actually conceder the much longer ride from PA to Colombia if I could keep my bike in Colombia when I move there but they got funny regs on that stuff. ;( I cant get into riding the 125cc bikes and I doubt I could afford to buy another big bike like I have now in Colombia.

I hope to slow down in Colombia soon. I have a busy and pressure filled job. My father and grandfather both died at 58 so I don’t want to be the next casualty of working hard and not relaxing. My concern will be that I am totally board when I move to Colombia. I will need something to tinker with at a slow pace. Maybe a fixer upper apartment or something like that. I defiantly want to slow down though.

Thanks roccatanski... I have been giving it heavy consideration.. I loose 1/2 % for every month early I retire.. It adds up quick when you are subtracting 6% for every year early you retire.. When I have enough to live ok till I am 62, and then get SS additionally I will pull the trigger. I am kind of shooting for June 2011 which is 8 years early.

I see a number of you have pensions of less than $1000. USD... With the curent low exchenge rate is it very difficult to get buy? Are you married and do you own a home in Colombia? I have been thinking about pulling the triger and retiring about 8 years early but my pension would take a big hit if I go early. about $1400 US if i go in 18 months. Is this enough for 2 people to live decent now if we buy a home.

Raaay... Actually the numbers have been run and are accurate portrayals as presented. If you want the group that researched it I can dig it up... I remember reading it and that is what lead me to the videos in the first place. The point is we are bankrupting the country..... Bush did it and now Obama is doing it... We are quickly approaching a point of no return. We are currently using a credit card to pay the payment on our other credit cards.. In the near future you can look to the issuers of these cards the USA holds (China, Japan, Russia Exc.) to stop throwing good money after bad and cut off our credit. They are already talking about rationing water and electric. 3/5 of there electric comes from a single hydroelectric dam. The first comment you make James is really odd... My president??? I thought they were all our presidents. As I am a libertarian I very much disagreed with the spending of the past and current presidents but I think from our previous discussions you should know that. And as the first video shows. George 2 was a piker compared to our current president (from Obamas own numbers) when it comes to spending.. These numbers are an accurate and easily understandable portrayal of difficult to understand numbers. If you’re supporting Obama you better look at the first and last video again before we are in a hole so deep we can never get out of... You are doing exactly what you accuse republicans of doing and that is blindly supporting a candidate because of his party. “Your Guy” Is the one that said he was going to get us out of Iraq and save us all that money but he seems to be stuck on the spending train with the throttle all the way down. During a sports event it would have to be a lot more serious than that for any legal action. It would be more likely that the governing board of the sport would suspend someone for a number of games. Any sport that is physically demanding will have tempers flare at times resulting in such behavior. Its nothing new other than it was caught on video. You also didnt see what probably happened earlier in the game that lead to that.

If Chavez was stupid enough to start anything it may be his last. Does anyone remember the videos of the first gulf war? Sending cruise missiles through windows in houses. Smart bombs down chimneys. We can place a bomb so accurately that if we knew where he was it would be finishes with one missile. And don’t think he doesn’t know it. We wouldn’t need support at home to launch a few missiles. We would just let on Colombia took him out with a missile strike. I don’t believe for a minute he would actually start something. It’s all a show to drum up support for him in his own country.

Darlop.. I have been diving in your area. Santa Marta has some decent diving if you go before the rainy season. The water gets murky when the rainy season starts. If you call the shop and talk to Max he can let you know the diving conditions. I prefer the Pacific for the variety of large fish and rays and eels. You may be right as I never researched the lithotripter... But it’s a great device ;)) Drugs are notorious for being copied after 100s of millions of costs R&D and FDA Approval. Life expectancy... You site infant mortality... Very poor statistic to use to show the quality of care.. Much of the US infant mortality is no prenatal care.. Its lack of using the medical technology. Drug use by poor intercity women also increases infant mortality. Its a behavioral issue in the US not a medical issue. Cancer survival rates are the best in the world for almost every type of cancer. Our lifestyle here also puts our medical system to a larger challenge than others, by the obesity rate in the US as compared to all other countries... Got to run now but I will do a little research tonight... jajajaja

Well said BG... I have found if i make a comment that someone is trying to discredit its better to ignore it. I made the original comment and everyone saw it. They agree or disagree with it. No need to argue about it. I throw it out there and everyone can think what they want. There are probably a half dozen people on here that seem to be obnoxious or just ass holes but its a total waste of time to try to criticize them every time they post as they seem to want to do with others. Tanned.. Your sugestian is usually what I take. Mask, Boots & Fins, Gloves and Camera. I have a dive watch I like to take that records max depth and down time. I have a 3 mm full suit. Its a little bulky to take but if the water is chilly I usually drag it along. I would like to rent a BC, Reg & gauges, tank and weights. Does the school line up the trip or just rent you the stuff to take.
