Solo in Cartagena 5-9 May

Hi everybody! I will be in Cartagena for a few days in May, then onto Curacao. I am looking for suggestions on where to stay, what to see in the day, and where to party at night. I am 36, love the beach and I like to party (drinking, not drugs). I am looking for mid to high range place to crash, however I want a place where in case I hook up, it won't be an issue to bring a woman back with me.
