hi everyone, thanks for your responses. yea finally after a long year things seem to be getting better, like i said a few more tests to assure the doctors that the cancer is truely gone and a stomach hernia surgery and once thats all done i should be living a fairly decent normal life. i thanks you all for you concern and support. one day at a time, half way through the process. radiation is finished on to chemo.treatments.. all i can do is hope for the best and do alot of praying. thank all of you for yourr support...you're a great group of people.

thanks guys. like i said its just a one day at a time thing. a little progress here and there, its slow and frustrating but i am finally starting to see a little light at the end of the tunnel. remember im only about half way through this process i still have some ways to go but at least i can drink water now and that makes me very happy. thanks all of you for your great support. half down half to go. scotty/john

thanks RJ! yea one down and one to go. im 1/2 way through the proceedure. the doctor say the tumor cannot be detected on a cat scan...it has disappeared. now on to chemo to rid the body of any lose cancer cells floating around. i truely believe i am on the way to a recovery. you guys be cool and take care, i will keep you informed of any changes.

sorry to hear about that Jeff, i hope she is ok? the bastards dont care if its a woman of child. my novia was riding her moto and stopped at an intersection, two guys ran out hit her in the face, pulled her off the moto and drove away with her moto never to be seen again.

i dred then upcoming chemo treatments i know chemo is really hard on a person. i have no idea how much and how often i will recieve chemo i guess the doctor will fill me in with the program some time in the next week. i am however excited to get it done and over with so i can live somewhat of a normal life again. i need to get this feeding tube removed from my intestines and this port removed from my chest. I want to be whole man again and be free of alll the tubes and medical devices. i look forward to the party, but remember the party is probably still some time away since i still have chemo and then time to recover. i look forward to meeting you all in the future.

lets dont celebrate to soon. i still have to recieve my chemo treatments and several tests. i also have to learn to eat and drink again i can barely sip water right now, hardly a party animal. But then again in a few months from now who knows what recovery there will be.

im feeling for the first time in months very positive. i know i still have chemo to undergo but the thought of being half way through the battle and the cancer not even showing up on the picture just thrills me to no end. by golly i may end up in Colombia ta a party after all. wish me luck on the second half of thisn proceedure. thanks everyone for you great support.

1. one down and one to go. the radiation treatments are finished all 36 sessions. the tumor has disapeared off the screen. 2. round two will be chemo treatments which will probably start in 2 or 3 weeks from now. 3. after the chemo is completed i will be given another CT scan and a endoscopy proceedure, 4. if all comes out ok then im on my way to recovery. 5. start making up for lost time

amazing! i figured it was something like that. whats that old saying..."if its not nailed down then its gone". guess this proves thats true. i know that recently the big thig around here was thieves ripping coper tubing right out of the wals of newly constructed homes. one case the thieves went into a school and ripped off all the coper tubes, needless to say school was cancelled.
