I have been a member here for a couple of months and read that you are living in Medellin.
I am off to Medellin July 29th thru August 8th.

Feria de las Flores in Medellin. Need exact date of festival in August, please!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited to be returning to Colombia. I need the exact dates for the festival so I can start to plan my trip. I found a web site but did not see the exact dates. Please help!!!!

2.) A colombian friend from Cartagena wants to wait till 30 days before festival to book a hotel room.
Are there many people traveling from other cities and staying at the hotels????? ...

JMBONE and ANYONE with ideas on learning English in Cartagena.

jmbone, I just read in a posting that you are living in Cartagena.
I already posted the subject of how to help a 12 year old practice his English in a group or private class. This would be for verbal and listening practice.
Grammar would not be taught in this group. Just verbal practice.
Since you live in Cartagena, have you any other ideas???? Have you seen any advertisement for group practice???

Gator (members name) A question about helping a young Colombian boy.

Gator, I cicked on your name and see that you live in Colombia. My question is how and where I can help a 12 year old boy in Cartagena practice his English speaking skills. His family is very,very poor and he is very serious about studying English to help support his family in the future. I will support him in a classroom setting or in a private group setting in order to help him improve.

Medellin : Need Apartment or Hotel Information for August trip

Please suggest contacts for renting an apartment and/or Hotel suggestions for Medellin. I would like to be in a safe area near the Salsa Clubs and great restaurants. I can contact owners of apartments from USA or thru a friend in Cartagena. Whatever works best.

For a few days I must stay at the Hotel PORTON DE OVIEDO. Is it in a good area???
Also if anyone has suggestions of what to visit in Medellin, I would appreciate it. Thanks! ...
