All this means is that that people travelling to Venezuela are-one way or the other-going to have to pay some friend of Chavez-it's the way the place works. Charter fishing boats in Marina Caraballeda used to be able to buy gas for the same prices as Venesolanos-then one day-No More Gas!!! After a week or so an 'arrangement' was made. And guess who they have to buy the gasolina from now? A friend of the Chavez clan that's who! For how many more times as much as formerly? The place is a snake pit and a hellhole and will be until Chavez catches plomo.

The one Mexico site (maybe Mexconnect) tried the same thing long long ago and for years it struggled along and finally died now content on the site is all free. Of course Mexico is a lot larger place with a lot more people coming/going/retiring/working/starting businesses there so it's a different dynamic. I doubt there's enough people interested in moving to Colombia who'll pay that much money for what's on offer-it would be a lot of work for those involved and rewards would be scanty-people in the modern world want everything free and the more you give them the more they want.

Don't count on finding anything to do with Indian cooking in Colombia apart from Chili and Salt-that's it. Bring all the spices you think you'll need then double the amount-food in Colombia is very very bland-Colombians are physically afraid of spiced food-total cowards for the most part.
