Heads up AA is losing bags

I got into Bogota on Saturday, to bad my bag I checked in did not. It is Monday and I still have not received my bags. I have not been contacted by AA. I was one of about 40-60 who lost there bags. I was given two numbers, in order to get my bags. The first one does not work and the second one just rings.

It seems this has been happening for at least a week. A man on my flight had several bags lost. One of his family members got in Thurseday and as of Saturday no bags. ...

I will be going to Medellin during Christmas and New Years. Was curious if there are any fiestas, fierras, carnivals or anyting in particular I should see. I have been to Cali during Christmas and it was great, but would like to see another city this year. Any recommendations where to go?
