I wanted to mention here of a Colombian that has become very successful after many years of hard work... I finally gave in to checking out a fairly new place called Alloy in Calgary last night and it was unbelievable. The menu is designed by Colombian head chef (co-owner) Rogelio Herrera that has a bit of a fusion cuisine going on as he has blended in many tastes with a very noticeable Colombian flair. Colombian authorities have came out saying that other countries should not be negotiating with the FARC for hostage release without consent from Colombia.
