All I know is that WW II was around 1939 through to 1945, and I am making my opinion in regards to the current situation in Colombia (the year 2009). Poverty, Violence, Jobs, Economy, drugs, Prostitution, etc. If you honeslty believe that Colombia can be compared with an European nation...well that is your opinion Mark00 Mark....Do you have a Business or something similar in which you will be receiving a profit from US personnel in Colombia. Do you honestly believe that is right for the US military and contractors to have immunity in Colombians in case they commit a crime? The poverty level in Germany cant be compared with the level in Colombia, and having served in the US army I can tell you that their presence in Colombia is only going to affect the good American that is currently residing in Colombia. When we used to go to different post in the military there was nothing but fights, alcohol, etc.. and thats not including what goes on Overseas.

However, there are many Colombianas who also dress up in a very respectfull way. If Colombia exports skanks to the US I ask who is to blame HER or her BF aka Husband for bringing her into the states without even knowing what type of person she was going to be.

Bueno, despues ya no me importo que US este en Colombia pues no se puede cambiar las decisiones que hace el presidente Uribe. Ahora esto me parece muy mal que ocupen aeropuerto Internacionales ya que es el colmo que interrunpan los vuelos o las operaciones de Colombia. I also served in the US military so I am not against the US Military, but I think they should be using airports that belong to the Colombian Air Force instead of international airport. Presidente Uribe is time to leave your office and move on.
