I finally stopped being depressed
about not being in Colombia and
uploaded a few photos of my last
trip.
Please look at IMG_0001 and see
if you can tell me what these
objects are. It's been bugging
me for a while and I forgot to
ask in Colombia.

Okay, here’s another food observation.
I’ve known for about three years or so that most people
in South America (Ecuador, Peru, Colombia etc..) do not

Okay, here’s an observation about pizza in Colombia.
One day I was walking down the street close to Avenida 33

From previous experience in Mexico, Ecuador, and Peru,
I could guess with some certainty of the style of the pizza being sold.
My personal peference is for American style pizza.
Hello everyone,
While cruising the information super-highway I stumbled upon a website maintained
by a couple in Manizales. A Dutchman and his Colombiana spouse are offering me
a package for Spanish lessons. I will be staying in a home with teachers
from a local high school and university.
He’s very vague on location, itemized list of costs, and the type and duration of lessons I will be engaged in.
His only explanation is that this pa ...
Okay here we go!!
I’ve followed this site off and on for approximately a year.
I’m glad that the quality of the postings have improved. (You must admit there was a time when that wasn’t true.)
Many postings are a wealth of information and a true sense of community is conveyed by the core posters.
These improvements have prompted me to finally de-cloak from lurk mode and seek advice.
