so u have to present proof of funds to get a student visa for the UK, but how much do they say is needed? i know they dont say the exact amount, but how much (in your experience, for US or UK) does a student need to have in their account roughly? ...

so after my girlfriend payed for her course to learn english for six months (as this helps to get a visa apparently), got all the paper work ready.. she got refused her visa for some reason, but i dont know why? she has sufficient finachial backing from her family, good education, and generally a good situation at home. but for some reason her visa got refussed, it was only for a years student visa too. not like she was applying for residence or anything

ok ok, so i know that its not wise to go to colombia on a one way ticket blah blah blah, but at the end of the day, its what i need and its the cheapest.....
