in Medellin close to Poblado or Envigado can I learn the Salsa. I know of one place near Exito. Are there others?

I am presently in Bogota and want to teach English somewhere else. I have a degree in Linguistics and am a certified TESOL teacher. Can anyone give me the names of likely places to apply in either place. Where would be the best, Periera or Medellin? I have visited both places previously. Also, would want to rent an apartment. Any help would be appreciated with kind thoughts and new year blessings.

I will be arriving in Medellin in a few days to mainly improve my spanish (no schools) and if it happens, meet up with a nice chica (no bars, been there done that)and will be looking for a furnished apartment. I plan on at least a month, and if I like it, maybe longer. Looking at around $US250 a month close to transport shops etc.

and I would like to stay a day 2 before travelling to Medellin. Firstly, can anyone recommend aywhere to stay in Pereira budget wise, and secondly, what and how is the best way to get to Medellin overland.

I am leaving for Colombia in a few days after being in Panama a few months, this is my first time there. I am hoping its is better than what I have experienced since arriving and travelling in the rest of Central America. Previously I have been 3 years in the Middle East, South Sinai on the Red Sea. Its got its good points and bad points, like anywhere. Mainly, I find the people and their ways very similar to the Egyptians (only to a lesser degree).
