I had a 2 hour lesson with her and learned nothing. Probably because she is not a teacher and doesn't speak English. Not that speaking English is a necessity, but there was no lesson plan or ability to teach, and some grammatical items she did not understand and was also wrong on a couple of things. I have since found a teacher for $6 an hour and have valuable learning each lesson.

I dont recommend Calidad House. I stayed a couple of nights and felt like I was intruding in someones home, because the owners live on the premises. It is unfriendly and it is difficult to watch TV because the Colombians who work there seem to be watching it all the time. Also, there is no hot water, and the clod is freezing. Noise from the TV travels though the whole Hostel. Find somewhere else.

I was thinking of . . . . . . but I never did. Then I started listening . . . so I never did. How many die from obesity and obesity related diseases.

Were the girls experienced riders? How powerful was the bike? Was it a bike or moped? Were they riding according to the condition at the time?

Pereira then Santa Rosa for a week or 2, depending. I used to ride Triumphs mostly, though I had other bikes, like Ariel Red Hunter, Norton, but mostly Triumphs. Am now in Bogota but leave tomorrow for Pereira then S.R. I looked at Casa Kiwi site, he should know about KLR's, but then looking at the videos of Giann, the roads look okay for road riding, but what about if I want to go off road?? and I am sure there would be good off road here.

where can I get a Kawasaki KLR650. I used to ride years ago and think riding colombia would be great. I am interested in the KLR as an all round bike. Any info??

Heard Medellin was fun at xmas . . so thought to go there. Also heard of the Termales and Santa Rosa, so now you mention it, I might take a few days, I have plenty of time.
