Why don;t you cook for him? We used to feed our rottweiler boiled ground turkey or birger or chicken some times with white rice or pasta and he was very very healthy. His coat was bright and silky and he had tons of energy. About a month ago we got lazy about cooking and boght the Halo dog food which is supposed to be all natural and the dog is tired and farty..... Cooking for a dachshund shouldn't bee too bad since they are small....

Hello, I am Estadounidense happily married to a Colombiano. We met at work in january 2003 and started dating a few months later. We got married on Valentines day 2007 and we are expecting our first baby 8/28/08! We have our ups and downs but so far so good!

I was googling "Colombian Festival Boston" when I came across this post. I know it was back in may so hopefully you get it. Club Lido in Revere near Wonderland Station Has alot of Colombian music on their latin nights and they often have noches colombianas. There are many more colombian dance clubs in RI though, I used to frequent La Cabana in Pawtucket. Hope that helps.

It is a repeat but it is worth watching. Yes in his younger days he was really into metal. He was in a rock group Ekymosis which were pretty good.

I think he changed his style because he grew up. He explains it a little in the interview at the end of the austin city limits show. I don't think he makes his music for the market because there is definatly a market for rockers in the colombia and throughout latin america for that matter. He defiantly had plenty of chances to sell out or do english cross overs in usa but he has stayed tru to his music and langage. His spanish music is popular all over the world.

I would not compare him to justin timberlake though .... Justin timberlake doesnt sing about war and life like Juanes does.

I just bought it along with Leopard in the Sun, Dark bride, and olor de rosas (i think thats what its called) I didnt start any yet but they all look good.

You should check out Jorge franco Ramos the author of rosario tijerras he has a few good novels too ...

I would defiantly recommend the book And to read it before you see the movie. It is not on dvd anywhere that I can find it I had to order HBO and watch it at 1am in the middle of the week to watch it.

Another good book by the same author is Paradise Travel. It has a jumpy sequence like rosario tijeras and the ending is odd ....

sorry to interupt the little tiff that seems to be starting in this thread but does anybody know what estrato the Kennedy area of Bogota is? I couldn't find any info on this else where. Maybe I'm not looking hard enough?

What crap are you referring to? I used to come to PBH every day but posted maybe once. When I found out about cblog I only lurked in here once or twice a month.

I am glad that both sites exsist but I don't see how anyone can say that cblog is a small group of but kissers or that one is leading the others. The people over there are all very friendly and I've never read anything putting down Colombia over there.
