Mister.............I stayed in Cucuta twice. Both times only for a few days. My experience there seems like it was different from the folks who have commented above. I stayed in a fairly decent hotel, went to a few bars and restaurants. Spent a few hours in a mall. Wandered the streets. All the normal stuff. I didn't have a huge issue with the place. I'm a little confused with your post. Are you just wanting to get your passport stamped out, and then in again with a fresh visa.? If so, I can give a fuller answer. The black market money changers are on the road into Vez............standing around. My memory is, they wouldn't take dollars. Only Pesos. Someone else might clarify this. I " seem " to remember it that way. .
