Visas 101

I have tried to read up and understand what I can about visas.

Simply the situation is this - I have a Colombian girlfriend who I visited in November 2005 and she wants to come visit the US and go to Disney world etc. She has a stable job in Medellin and plans to return home. She has been denied a visa 2x for various reasons.

Any advice on this - is there anyway to influence this process or facilitate it? I understand the logistics on the marriage visas and such ...
