It's a bunch of kids in cucunubá that I was taking photos of. They followed me back to the bus and kept asking me to take more photos. This one I took as the bus pulled away.

Well I took a sabbatical from work in early 2005 and studied spanish (beginner, very beginner) at La Javeriana in bogotá.

It really was a life changing event.

I went back to work and started planning my escape to south america. I visited Bogotá about 4 more times over the next 18 months. I really wanted to start some kind of business in bogotá, but just couldn't find the right opportunity.

So I headed to BsAs to check it out, and saw all kinds of opportunities.

So here I am, happy with my business, but wishing I was in colombia.

Well I was a bit busy this week...the architects went awol and the workmen promptly broke a gas line and almost blew the place up. Then the drywallers decided to goof off for 2 days. Final straw was when I discovered the plans had an error in them and ás a result I can't have the curved arches above the doorways that I wanted...I blew a gasket. Thank god for the comic relief at PBH.

So how was your week? Hear from kat at all? She doesn't write, she doesn't call...
