Pitufa comments on Use of E700 (Samsung) in Colombia

E700 Utility of Mobile, rather than Roaming Hi again, what I am asking is really if the mobile itself can be used in colombia. I mean, if it can be used, then I intend to purchase a Colombian Sim Card. So I am not asking about roaming service, but rather on the utility of the phone itself

Thanks again

Pitufa comments on First time to Colombia

.. forget the cities i did not have time to read all comments, but i really recommend that you visit a beautiful colonial town called Villa de Leyva in Boyaca about 3hrs from bogota .. if i remember well. There is also a wonderful little town called Mongui (it's also in the region called Boyaca)
Do not waste all your time in the big cities. They're ok, but there is much more to see in Colombia. You should also go to Parque Tayrona (Santa Marta). It is an amazing place with wonderful beaches, and you can also climb up to Pueblito.....
If you go to Cartagena, do not miss going to Playa Blanca, where you can bathe in the clear waters of the Carribean and nod off to sleep in a hammock underneath the stars!!!
El parque de los Nevados is also pretty amazing, especially if you like hiking. It feels like being on the moon.
There are so so many beautiful places to visit in Colombia. Do not make the mistake of spending too much time in the cities. Enjoy the sea, the mountains and the villages. Trust me, you will never want to go back home! Even though you re going to travel alone, if you stay at the key hostels, you will surely meet up with lots of ppl travelling on their own. Good luck

Universities in Bogota Hi thanks for your reply.
I understand that Medellin may be cheaper but I can't alter my plans to live in Bogota, despite the higher cost. I wonder if you know if there are any spanish courses for foreigners at Universidad Nacional (sede Bogota)?

Thank u so much!!
