Someone forwarded me a post from one of those sex sites. It went something like this: boo hoo.....4 years ago the girls in Medellin were only 80K pesos.....boo hoo....and the peso was 2900-1.....boo hoo.....that was like 25 bucks......boo hoo....now the girls want 150,000 pesos and the pesos is 1750....boo hoo....that is like 86 bucks....that is more than 3 times the price....boo hoo...we have to do something to stop this....boo hoo..... Well, the Pink says we should give all the girls free money so they will ask for 500,000 pesos!!! YA!

It is Saturday night. I am having a couple beers. In about an hour I am heading down to Majorista to give every girl 50,000 pesos who promises not to go with a gringo tonight. I will be famous tomorrow and my cover will be blown. But this is going to be the most funny night in the history of Medellin.

There are lots of rich Colombians in Poblado who have nothing to worry about if prices go up. In fact they want prices to go up since it means their own real estate will increase in value. I had a rich Colombian buddy over for diner last week who owns 4 houses in Poblado and he loves the idea of gringos spending money here. He said he has made over 2 million bucks in the last 3 years from property inflation.

You think I am joking? Hell, one of these days I might go to Majorista and start offering the girls money to NOT go with gringos. Once the trailer park trash can no longer afford Medellin then they will head back to Thailand to meet cheap Ladyboys. Raay comes from a rich family? Did they own a brewery or something? What is wrong with backpackers? Are you serious? They are dirty people who come here to use drugs. I will give 20,000 pesos to anyone who can show me a picture of a backpacker who looks bathed.

Salaries go up every year a small amount. But that is not the point. The good news is the gringos who only have dollar savings are feeling the crunch now. Soon we are going to see a lot of garage sales as they head back to the US. I cannot wait to see the poor guys all get pushed out. There is just too many trailer park white trash here now. I am retired with a 6 figure pension so the peso changes have little impact on me especially since I own my one apartments. I would like to see everything in Medellin double in price once again as that will send these guys back to Costa Rica or the Dominican Republic where they belong.
