I'm in the process of putting together a trip to the Orinoco, flying into Puerto Carreno for the Easter Week holiday March 15 to March 24. The idea is to explore by boat various tributaries of the Orinoco (Bita, Tomo, Mesetas, possibly Tuparro in the National Park) and camp on the beaches at night (the area is very safe).
