Will platinos ever catch on in the west?....God I hope not! What other race in the world could get so excited about such a dull, bland, tasteles vegetable? I,ve had them boiled, fried, poached, con queso, con fritos, contrived, conceived, converted, constipated, configured....Keep them away from me! I currently live in Northumberland in the north of England. My wife(who is also English) in a previous life was married to a Colombian and lived in Bogota for 20 years. Last summer I visited Colombia for the first time. I drove from Bogota over the linear to Armenia and on to Cali and back. We also visited San Andreas and Providencia.
