payner comments on U.S. Passport by Mail in 1 Week

hi, im a fellow colombian traveler and passport agent. we have to tell people "up to 4-6 weeks". one friend of mine did a routine passport and it took 3 weeks, another one 2 weeks. remember to fill out the application in BLANK INK or it might get returned. most expedited are taking one week. they do usually send your old passport back with a hole punched through it. also make sure if you send in your renewal they are official passport photos. not sure on any visa info as i only do passports.
