Satellite TV Question

If one has a Stateside account with DirecTV or Dish Network and they bring the dish and receiver with them to Colombia are the American broadcast channels still available? Are there other options for receiving English broadcasts? Thanks in advance. ...

Taxi Fare Increases

As of the first of the year the minimum fare for taxi service in Medellin went up 300 pesos to 2800. I won't get rich on the small jump in cab fare but every little bit counts. Monica was happy with the rate increase.

The fare to the airport jumped to 39,000 pesos, up 4,000 pesos.

Other modes of public transportation went up slightly as well.
