I don't understand people. Since Bush has been in office Colombia is beginning to flourish. Colombia is #1 in aid from US in central and South America. Now Im sure politicians in Colombia are not distributing this aid properly I know money has been put into military there. Bush has asked congress for $600 million to send in aid this year alone. Fact!!! How dare you onehappyBoy state that are president become an iraqi citizen. Its slap in the face to me and other new yorkers who can see a permanent void in our skyline at ground zero which is a daily reminder of what terrorism and radical muslims can due. For the first time Avianca won't have a monopoly on your airways with spirit airlines soon to be joined by Jet Blue which is the best airline in my opinion. Which way do the citizens of Colombia want it. Allies or not. Some problems in the end have to be solved by your government and people. Obama is a joke im sorry. His tax policy is insane and his spiritual leader said "God damn America" This world is not perfect but I love my country and appreciate the freedom and economic stability that I enjoy. I will be voting for McCain a prisoner of war for 6 years a national hero. It won't be a continuation of Bush. McCain is an independent thinker. I hope Colombia and US can remain close and prosper. My friend in Buenaventura travels weekly to Cali. This is a routine bus journey. You can access a different route north, but I think it is too long and dangerous. I think you have to travel towards Cali, then on to Pereira. Good Luck! One Question..... Why?

I've been from Cali to Pereira and Cartagena to Santa Marta by bus and not a single problem. Both relatively short trips, but nothing nonetheless.... My friend took a bus from Buenaventura to Santa Marta (20 something hours) and not a problem either. Go for it!!! I'll meet you there.....

Online typically are rip off artists. If you go to a bodega on the street, look for orbitel colombia or "hot dog" calling cards. I like orbitel the best. Never a problem, very reliable, just don't try calling between 9 and 10 PM as everyone with cell phones call at this time.

You're a smooth one Mitch!! My ratio on who pays is based on salary..... If a woman here in NY makes as much as me, she should pay on the second date.
