San Andres or Santa Marta ???

Dear Fine folks,

Thanks again for all the previous info. on Santa Marta.

I am arriving vary soon to Colombia and will be meeting my novia in Medellin.
From there we can go anywhere in the country we like.
We love the beach so I think is is a clear choice between
San Andres or Santa Marta.
If you have been to both which one would you return to.
Also I have read that San Andres is vary expensive. Just how much more expensive is it ...

Santa Marta safe ????

Hello all,

I'm coming to Colombia ( 6th. trip) and only been to Medellin and Cartagena so far. This trip I would like to explore Santa Marta and sorrounding areas.
Anyone with any thoughts ??
I am well traveled but do stand out as I am 6'3' blond male.
