There is a form buried in there where you can grieve. It is hard to find but if you do a search on any FAQ then just say no this did not help then you can eventually get to the form. They usually respond but not right away. The thing I don't like about it is that is doesn't give you a copy for proof until they reply. They gave me a fir at FLL when I went to SJO last Nov. Even though I paid for my bags in advance and on my itinerary they demanded I show a separate receipt which does not exist. So I had to pay $20 again. For my next trip to SAT I purchsed the bags again and still no receipt so that is why I sent another e-comment via the link. If they try to hose my again I'll pay but dispute with my CC later explaining I did a question but never no response. Am. Express pretty good about refunds. Spirit best if you don't have to check any bags. I saw one coming in for landing one night at FLL too and looked like the pilot was hot doggin all around on landing just to have fun. What a joke.

For me the real discriminator between Bogota and the other cities is the altitude. Being from the flatlands of FL and Tejas I just don't do well in it. Yeah I could get aclimated but not for a short 5 days visit. Panting heavily from only walking around my aparthotel looking for my underwear is not my idea of fun. Bogota was neat and all but proly only a 1 time experience for me.

Good article. A friend of mine at work is from Argentina and thinks the run up there is about to cool off. I guess about a 150% runup in values since their currency finished nose diving in 2001. I think I'd be even more worried there and rest of Latin than in the U.S. with losing some money. $300K use to sound cheap for Miami but now it's a fire sale to get them off the books for even less.

M E, I think it is just a matter of cementing the final agreements with Colombia. They proly only pushed so much paper before the first approval and now they must gain one or more other approvals. Tipico bureacracy but would expect to see more flights added on piecemeal over the next several months even with sky high fuel. They think fuel will dramatically reduce down in price also once summer is over.

K, If you got the dime you got their time anywhere even in the U.S. But like everything in U.S. so much more pricey. Met this Peruviana one time and thought she was nice but after finding out I didn't live east of I-95 in West Palm (some areas exclusive but ghettoish parts also) became disinterested even though I still live in a nice area of suburban West Palm with nice house and gated community. Very superficial down here. Is why I luv to go to Miami and more off the beaten path areas to experience more down to earth peoples. I mostly stay away from touristy areas although even in SOBE can get off the beaten track. Have went out with a couple Cubanas here and there and they seemed pretty nice. Unbelievably some of them esp. the ones born after the Mariel boat lift here in U.S. don't prefer Spanish as their first language. They have this goth/industrial club in Miami that is good for me to meet some ladies time to time.

The couple times I visited Dadeland Mall I get more stares (not mean) than any trip to Medellin. So true although I have felt this even worse up in Broward for some reason. Just happened to me on Mon. plus had a few other near problems up in Broward. One guy even pulled up to the side of I-595 and was waiting for me back in 2001. Luckily it was during rush hour so many witnesses would have been available. People will cut you off in parking lots at the mall using their vehicles as weapons... Call it road rage or even "roid" rage. A lot of the youngers on steroids for sure. I need to buy me a little 9MM and concealed weapon permit just in case I ever get backed into a corner. West Palm is getting bad too. I cringe at having to drive anywhere at night in South Florida.

Just visited SOBE on Mon. since was down in the area and decided to check out the water. Right when I get close to the dunes I hear somebody singing really loud getting closer and closer. When I saw this guy in a 2 piece with the frilly kind of bottoms on I freaked out!!! He was singing really loud and I didn't stare too much but looked like he even had makeup on a big pot belly also.
