Hi Nico, thanks for the two cents, I'd like to get as good of an idea about the place from experienced travellers as I weigh the decision in my head. I'm not sure what I'm going to do there? Haha, I have been to school for several years studying film production, graphic arts/photography, and am just getting into music with guitar and drums, and have heard the place is wonderful with the various arts. Actually was atop GQ's best art places I believe? I am learning Spanish right now, its in my family, I'm the first gen not to be fluent, but am trying hard. I work as a telecommunications technician so if I can become fluent I hoped there'd be some type of industry I could get into.

That is the most common thing I've heard people go there for, is teaching English. I have a friend that went to work in a medical clinic in Medellin and loved it, said he was jealous that I was visiting Colombia in October and maybe Dec/Jan. So I've heard very good things, and also negative things, but want as much feedback from arbitrary sources as possible, right? Hopefully all will saturate in the head and make for sound reasoning. What do you do for work now? Have you taught before?

haha, if I'm not on this website long, my email is benito3d at yahoo.com, Thanks again!
