Help me visit Colombia!!!!! Dear everyone,
I live in Los Angeles, California, and I have an amazing friend who lives in Colombia that I want to visit next month, but my parents think this is a horrible idea only because of articles they have read from the US government, and regular stereotypes. They have almost made up their mind to not let me go, but I know from reading some articles on this site, talking to my friend who lives in Colombia, along with another Colombian family which I know, that all of the warnings might be true, but definitely not as extreme as the media makes it out to be.
Please help me visit my best friend in the beautiful country of Colombia. Any information will help. Thank you all so much.
