NataliaV says on Oct 2, 2007, 10:40: Nati - I live in Atlanta. Lucky for me I just recently moved here from Maryland so I do not have a country accent :)

NataliaV says on Oct 2, 2007, 15:30: I'm half and half. My mother is Colombian and father is American. However, I am closer to my Colombian roots than my American. My mother's family is a tradition Colombian family here in the US, so I was raised in this culture more so than in an American household. The only thing is I do not speak fluent spanish... :(

NataliaV says on Oct 2, 2007, 17:20: Yea - Georgia was pretty hot in August, but I am so looking forward to a nice winter. No snow! Never been to Macon - so thanks for the heads up!

Dan says on Oct 2, 2007, 21:22: The most I've seen of Atlanta itself is the bypass around the city. Georgia is a nice state. I've only ever gone through it, never stayed (yet). Being in North Carolina, it's not entirely too far away. God Bless America! |

NataliaV says on Oct 3, 2007, 12:07: Dan - I almost moved to Charlotte actually. I did visit and stay there a night. A friend of mine has a sister who lives near the army base in Fayetteville. Plus, housing in NC is so cheap. I hear lots of people are moving south.

Dan says on Oct 3, 2007, 20:21: You are right, housing is pretty cheap compared to the rest of the country. I'm glad I got mine when I did. Plus, there are a lot of new one's going up all over the place. I have not been to Charlotte yet. I hear it's a nice area.. I live in fayetteville area (6yrs now) and I like it. Still no telling if/when I'll move somewhere else. God Bless America! |

NataliaV says on Oct 11, 2007, 17:44: Thanks Mike. I have never been to Savannah GA. I have also heard it is a nice vacation spot. I am new to GA though, originally from Baltimore so I'm not too sure of all the great places.

Mike19 says on Oct 11, 2007, 18:08: gotcha. How often do you go to colombia? I never been but want to go to medellin soon...im a bit espandado:(

NataliaV says on Oct 15, 2007, 12:57: I try and go once a year. I would love to squeeze in two trips a year, but my schedule doesn't always allow it. My next trip will be in 2008. I have never been to Medellin, but want to visit at some point. You should go...you will fall in love with Colombia like almost everyone else on PBH.
