there is one cruise line that does Panama aruba and somewhere else and then back to Panama via Santa Marta and Cartagena .it doe snot go anywhere near the US .. it stays around here ..... I think it is 5 days .....I was talking to some Panamanians who were in SM for the day .....

if you left colomba legally and you have not used up 180 days in this calender year you can come back as a tourist ..No problem .....I am thinking you have used up the 180 days ..that is for the tourist .....if your previous visa ran out and you left before the time expired no problem to re enter on tourist ...

At night the view is great as well ..a good time to go is at sunset ..have a pre sunset drnk and then enjoy sitting outside for dinner ...at about 10 pm it become sa club and they charge 10 000 pesos per person to enter .....I agree the prices on the beers are a bit silly and I have noticed the number of people going there has declined at night....I like the place ....

Well Cartagena is no problem ....call Hotel Villa Colonial ....60 000 pesos a night ....ask them to arrange a taxi for you ...They can tell you about CTG and where to go ....Plus walk up the street to the Cuban bar and talk to all the other tourists and find out where everyone is going and what to do ...

Best idea ...Ask a taxi driver ....ask a few of them to get an idea of what is happening ...Seems to be normal for me .. no worse no better ...Petty crime is probably up as this is the low season and no one has any money .....

Try Hotel Villa Colonial .....I have used them many times ...good family owns the hotel ....call them and get them to arrange a taxi pick up from the airport ...it is about usd 30 dollars a night ....very nice rooms aircon .....and the owners are very helpfull.... I use this hotel everytime i am in CTG including meeting my sister there from Australia ....She and her friend liked it ....

well Kat ... Marmite or vegemite I will take either one bromite as well ...as you cans ee ......along time without and my standards go down .... One thng the meat in Colombia is fantastic ...so you should all try and experiemtn a little bit with some of the spices here ....yes it is diferent but you never never lnow maybe you will stumble upon a great recipe .....and be like me and promtly forget what I put in it .... Yes Careefour has fallen off the mountain ...... Yes we get the real lea and Perrins .........not the Hienz salsa ingles........ Juniper is great when you are doing a slow cooked meat ............

Yes Larry ...What ever you want in Colombia is what you will not get ....The minute I go over to homecenter to buy a tool .That is the one they have sold out of ......If you see something and you think you may need it in the next 10 years ..buy it ....Also this has happened twice ..once I was driving a friends car and for the first time were stopped by the police and sure enough her SOAT had run out 2 days before ....then about 2 weeks later I was stopped by the police and my SOAT had run out by 1 day .....I get stopped twice in a year and that is what happens ...go figure...... On the picture front ....my computer will not talk to my camera ...therefore I have to wait for a friend to return on Friday and use his camera and computer to get some pics....OK ..... Larry so if you are feeling despondent about your car ..come along to the game at 4 pm ....
