Miguel comments on Offered my first job in Colombia today at a bi-lingual school in Barranquilla. Brian 858, the numbers posted so far on this thread about salary look very accurate. With your credentials, you should not accept anything less than 2 million a month. Strata2, I have a friend from the USA working for the best university in B/Q. She is not teaching English, has several degrees, and is making 6 million a month. You have to take into account the working conditions; hours per week, student to teacher ratio, facililites, and so forth. Being paid on time is "la vaina". Good luck.
