Miguel comments on Offered my first job in Colombia today at a bi-lingual school in Barranquilla. Brian 858, the numbers posted so far on this thread about salary look very accurate. With your credentials, you should not accept anything less than 2 million a month. Strata2, I have a friend from the USA working for the best university in B/Q. She is not teaching English, has several degrees, and is making 6 million a month. You have to take into account the working conditions; hours per week, student to teacher ratio, facililites, and so forth. Being paid on time is "la vaina". Good luck.

Miguel comments on HI People! Where is my friend Brians. How do I find out about his status? I hear it was a beautiful evening. Antithesis performed the ceremony, el Sapo paid for the food and drink, and Elmo did stand up comedy and gave a convincing dissertation about the difference between Colombian and Mexican cumbia.

Miguel comments on Offered my first job in Colombia today at a bi-lingual school in Barranquilla. Brian 858, your checklist really depends on whether you are already in Colombia or still overseas. Give us a little more info and perhaps your questions will be answered. Congratulations on the job offer! (y Clavo tiene toda la razón,,,cuidado con las ranas en B/Q)

Miguel comments on BARRANQUILLA-SANTA MARTA planning a trip next week A good hotel in B/Q is the Versalles Inn.

Miguel comments on Who in the hell would want to ignore anyone and miss the good, bad and ugly that exists on PBH? Maybe pussies and sabelotodos? It is what it is.

Miguel comments on When is the next Santa Marta Meetup? One can only imagine a tour of "BQA" (try booking a flight with THAT code) with La voz de la costa "preconveided ideas"....W O W

Miguel comments on Homeless dogs in Barranquilla. What can be done about the problem? From the ever popular "la voz de la costa": "Then, one day, a tenant of our building decided for some reason that Munchie bothered him. So, one morning, he put him in the back of his SUV, drove across half Barranquilla and abandonned Munchie in an unknown district," Hopefully you learned a cultural lesson from that experience.

Miguel comments on 2-way ignore Damn Clavo, according to La voz de la costa, es: "LOST ALL CREDIBILITY" And "AT THE END OF THE DAY", who cares? Ignore buttons, double ignore buttons, flaggots...W O W.

Miguel comments on 2-way ignore Oye M_C, el tipo ya tiene demasiados "vecinos". IMHO, this "double ignore" feature may very well be the last "clavos en el ataúd" for PBSH. I will never use this "feature".

Miguel comments on "And at the end of the day", I think RAAAY should be a moderator; imaginate un mod que estaba en la hp vaina Fishbowl.
Miguel comments on Excellent, RAAAY, and "at the end of the day", one of the funniest posts on this site in a long time.
Miguel comments on Comments are closed for this post. The Truth Hurts (I guess). I was sentenced to 4000 minutes in The Fishbowl recently. It was a nice experience.

Miguel comments on Why do people talk poorly about each other? Estimada MaBarker "Why is it though that some people can instigate name calling, ....and others can be put in the fish bowl, and they never called any names at all?" s As a proud member of PBH for over than five years now, and a recent convict that served 4000 minutes in "The Fishbowl", all I can offer is that for some reason the powers that be choose to let Darloup run at will. Mister Darloup has somehow been rewarded the power to have some very helpfutl members of this forum to be banned. I also got a warning from the owner of this site (PETER) about my comments and opinions. So Mister Peter, if you want to delete my account, go ahead and do so. You should be congratulated for what you created with PBH, but you are now lacking perspective.

Miguel comments on Why do people talk poorly about each other? Oye RAAAY...that fishbowl thing is a lot of fun, right? Nice to have you back.
Miguel comments on Why do people talk poorly about each other? Why be confused? It is obvious that Darloup has complete immunity here on PBH. He also is a marked man. His internet "personaje" is not worth jack shit when those he has dissed here faces him IRL.

Miguel comments on Why do people talk poorly about each other? Bad English from Euros..."People who can actually wrote on PBH". Brutal.

Miguel comments on Just the facts, Darloup...what part of my comment and the English language did you not understand?
Miguel comments on From La Voz de la Costa: "Miguel: You want to take a bet on how you'll last on PBH forgetting its number one rule? Elmo thought he was untouchable' Is the number one rule pointing out that you fail in logic and that your English grammar sucks against PBH policy? If you actually have the power to have me put into the fishbowl or expelled from this site, so be it. Watch your back IRL.
Miguel comments on El estimado Darloup escribío:"Miguel: You're out of the fishbowl yet?" Not only has your ability of making a logical deduction gone to shit, you urgently need grammar lessons.
Miguel comments on Estimado Darloup: hay un dicho gringo..".this is where the rubber hits the road." There are several PBH members who know Elmo IRL, his true story, and you do not. Your internet attitude will not fly on the street down here.
Miguel comments on There are more than a few Fishbowl Hall of Fame Members that live on the coast that have long memories.
Miguel comments on "Elmo thought he was "untouchable" because of his background... Yet he is now history... " Maybe history on this website but most likely your worst fokin nightmare should you encounter him IRL down here. He made a comparison about Leon Spinks and___________. Nojoda

Miguel comments on "At the end of the day"; "has lost all credibility"...cliche me daddy, eight to the bar. Now he is in prepositional no man's land..."A poster who, at the end of the day didn't belong to PBH".

Miguel comments on 4000 Minutes In The Fishbowl "And at the end of the day he has lost all credibility"...trust me, his name will be a household word here on the coast.
Miguel comments on RAAAY nailed it in regards that the post should have been left up. Darloup is possibly the biggest reason why this site, as he likes to say "has lost all credibility: and "at the end of the day" is a mere shadow of its former self. What an asshat.

Miguel comments on How stupid of me to predict that this thread will last for 500 comments; I forgot that la papaya humana is sort of like the paracos who confess their sins and only get 8 years in the slammer The mods will delete this one in a NY minute.

Miguel comments on no ALCS, only NLCS on ESPN Colombia? "Game 1 not on Fox Sports in Colombia (Fox Sports argentina version which all colombia cable providers have). ALCS only on Fox Sports (Mexico Version) which is only available on Direc TV Colombia ch. 606." You might want to be more specific because what you posted does not apply to the northern coast of Colombia.
Miguel comments on no ALCS, only NLCS on ESPN Colombia? Watching it right now via Telecaribe here in Barranquilla.
Miguel comments on Foundations in Barranquilla Two of the most famous barranquilleros have foundations as well as schools created to help the poor children here in B/Q and I am sure they would appreciate your help. Google Shakira and Edgar Rentería.

Miguel comments on Colombian War Crimes Suspects Sit in U.S. Prisons, Victims Protest MES, why don't you ask him via PM rather than hijack the thread?

Miguel comments on What are you guys doing tonight after watching Brokeback Mountain? JK...have a great time!
Miguel comments on Colombian War Crimes Suspects Sit in U.S. Prisons, Victims Protest I remember watching Mancuso being interviewed by 60 Minutes while in a Colombian prison.. When asked if he was ready to "name names", he said he was. He was extradited to the USA within a few days.
