Acapulco vs Puerto Vallarta

I'm looking at Villa's in both cities.

Someone said Puerto Vallarta is less dangerous than Acapulco.........is it?

Which city offers more?

Which city is more beautiful?

Differences?

Both beautiful in there own way, but I would personally go for Vallarta, being it is so close to the metro city of Guadalajara and has many flights out to all over the USA daily. You do not hear of much crime in Puerto Vallarta as-well. Good luck on you choices...

I find the neighborhood 1 hour North of Vallarta know a Guajabitos to be very attractive and peaceful. Investigate, hope you choose well. I agree with the comments from cazadores the option to navigate to Guadalajara or Manzanito.

Enjoy your stay!

I never have been to Puerto Vallarta. My parents and some friends loved it.

It has been a while since I have been to Acapulco. The time I went I found it interesting. The beach was dirty, The hotels and strips was nice. One block from the tourist area you had slums. My hotel was on the strip, if you looked behind the hotel there was slum houses no more then 50 feet away. The river that runs into Acapulco is very dirty. You can smell it several blocks away.

I spoke to a government official and he told that there is very little money being put back into the city. Personally I would not go back. In my case I was visiting friends.
