Well, one thing for sure that I've noticed is how well behaved children are in Colombia compared to the US. I've seen families with 4 children all getting along and playing and speaking quietly. This is really refreshing compared to many experiences here in the US.
Parents in the US are overmedicating children and getting them diagnosed with ADD or ADHD or whatever those initials are. And it gets worse, check out the below story on yahoo news.
