maximus comments on Are Colombians Still Nice People When They go To U.S.?

The ones I know are.. My wife and I had some friends from Colombia over as well as some of their family that was visiting for the holidays. Neither my wife or I had met these other folks before.

I was amazed how quickly we all bonded and were joking, laughing and enjoying ourselves. By the time they left I felt like I had known them for years. This part of our friends family have been in the States now for about 7 years and were some of the sweetest people I have ever met. Maybe they were putting on their best face for us but Im inclined to think that they are just good people.

Thanks for all the input.. I will just keep banging away at it. I live in Tampa, Fl so being in touch with Spanish speaking people is no problem. My closest friends are a Colombian family who seem to enjoy my sporadic ramblings.
