aguardiente I would have to agree with expatriate about the aguardiente, had many shots of it everytime I have been there, also rum. The rum was always flowing freely. :)

Maybe there is no fair trade involved with cocaine because it is Illegal and it destroys many families. Did you forget about the farmers in Mexico that grow marijuana, and you can't forget the farmers in Afghanistan that grow the opium to produce heroin.

Yes there are plenty of blondes in Colombia, most of them are not real though. You would be noticed if you had jet black hair, they know a gringa when they see one. I am speaking from experience on this one, being that I am also a blonde. You should have no worries as long as you are with someone who is from there.........

I saw one person skating in Medellin last time I was there. I never did see anyone else in all the other cities I stayed at, but I did notice that Bogota had some nice places to skate. I did ask a few people if they liked to skate, and well they all said no. Maybe you should encourage your son to play soccer, he will have no trouble finding a place to play their.. Good Luck

I believe so Well I work with 7 people that are from Colombia(very good workers I might add) And also there are a few restaurants in the area as well as dance club. So I would have to say yes. Orlando, as well as the whole state of Florida has more Latino's then whites and blacks.

thanx... She is from Copa Cabana.... And about the tatts, well my girl likes mine and the piercings too.,. I know some of her friends liked my tatts, but in general im not 2 sure. I can tell you that I had many people looking at me when I was wearing my basketball jerseys that showed off a few of my tatts. But then again I am 6'6'' and 220 lbs, with blonde hair, so maybe that is why.....Oh hook me up with a password so i can check out your pics 2

1st Visit I went to Colombia for the first time last month. I stayed in Bogota,Arbarellas, and Fusa. Bogota was ok, but I enjoyed my time in Arbarellas much better. My advice to you is to relax and have a good time.If you know people down there, I would stay with them and just don't go to bad areas. I am 6'5'' with blonde hair, tattoos, and piercings so everyone that saw me knew I was from America. The media in America portrays Colombia to be so dangerous, but I felt safe the whole time. I am going back to Medillin in April to visit my girlfriend and her family.Colombia is very beautiful, Im sure you will have a good time........
