Harleys in Bucaramanga In the 70's La Policia De Transito used them in Bucaramanga. I don't know the age of the bikes but they had a shifter by the tank. They where white or off white. I wonder what became of these bikes. I suppose that other cities used them also. Would be neat to own one of those.

Hotel San Juan - Giron I grew up in Bucaramanga but I haven't been back for 9 years.
When I lived there I thought that Hotel San Juan in Giron just outside Bucaramanga was nice. It had a nice feel, outside restaurant and pool in a country setting.

Cucuta worked for me. Cucuta worked for me the last time I crossed the border about 11 years ago. You will cross to Urena / San Antonio, make sure that you have your visas set, or you could experience delays. Were your passport is from, and what kind of visa you have, can make a difference. When I tried it I found that if you were planning to come back to Colombia or Venezuela it was helpful to have a multiple entry visa. You could however go into Venezuela for about 20 miles or so without a Venezula visa, I don't know if that is still the case.

Un pais tranquilo y pacifico. Creo que es logico tener orgullo por muchas cosas como las mencinadas.
Pero me gustaria que se pudiera anadir a la lista, que Colombia es un pais tranquilo y pacifico, donde cualquier persona pudiera viajar sin temor de secuestro o violencia. Para mi seria una meta para lograr, porque cuando esto es anadido a la lista si trendan razon de orgullo.
Yo creo que es posible!!!!

Bucaramanga Colegio Panamericano I lived in Bucaramanga from 1970-1980 and went to Colegio Panamericano in the late 70s let me know if this was the time period you where there.
