Dear All - Hope all clicking good. May you be patient with your endevours and all that's good come to you and your loved ones. Was thinking Cali to Pereira by bus as this may be easier and cheaper -when flying from out of the country-....any thoughts? I heard it takes about two hours by bus. If so, it is not that bad at all. Was thinking the sexta is where the action is at however & surely some of the barrios cater to the local beauties and I mean bars where decent people go and dance - although mainly girls accompanied already- but nonetheless it's interesting getting a different feel away from the sexta avenida. Can anyone recommend any good dancing spots in the safe barrios? Danke!!! ...

Hello All - About two blocks away from the Four Points Sheraton hotel in the north of cali and - not sure which direction- but there's another small hotel about two blocks away from the torre the cali. It's white and has a gym somewhat hidden. Does anyone know which one is this? The hotel is after a very busy two way street across but not in front of the Torre de Cali, in one of the streets off this busy two-way, perhaps a block away from it. Hello All Midyear 2007 I spoke to a friend in Cali. She said the thing going around was some camera placed in ATMs to record your password and somehow finding their way to get your ATM card number. I believe she said some insiders at banks were in it, my apologies I do not know all the details and have not inquired about it. Apparently it seemed like it was happening a lot and was well-known. Dear All~ Hope all is rather good with you. I think it's been close to two years with summer 2006 being my last visit in Cali. Although I did venture to some popular otherwise normal barrios and took cabs past midnight - shouldn't done so really but you gotta dance & women- the crime was not loud.
