thanks for your comments on maranilla. the reason for all the graffiti is because of the insurgent presence there...no doubt. i like it, but as i said earlier, it can be a serious kind of place if the wrong 'vibes' pass between folks.

i don't know where you're going to college, but wish you all the best. the areas around llano grande are the best i know of in colombia. first of all because most of the folks are well educated, want nothing to do with the city slickers and friendship is a bond, not just a convient word. if you head that way, i'd be glad to hook you up with good folk.
