Lucho562 comments on Financing propery in colombia...dealing with banks I purchased a home in Colombia a few years back. The minimum down payment was 30% I believe if not 40%. I did this through bank BBVA. BTW, I did this from Los Angeles. The term is for 10 years.

Lucho562 comments on When you send out the initial packet for k1 visa ,and if you are refused ,do you get your 455$ back? A lawyer is not needed for this process, unless both are divorced, 'x' number of kids, etc. If there are no known complications you do not need a lawyer. Heck, give me $500 and i'll help you out...j/k

Lucho562 comments on getting to Cartagena Like curramberochris said, Marsol is a great option. Have your friends do the leg work for "puerta a puerta" services. Marsol, Invertours are a few options you have. They will pick you up at your address and drop you off at whatever location in Cartagena. Or you can just go directly to their station and go from there. It only cost like 20mil pesos or so each way. I wouldnt call them buses, more like big minivans.

Lucho562 comments on Scopolamine (Devil's Breath) As a matter of fact my sister has the tree (Brugmansia) version, she lives in Southern California. It grows well over here. I knew she had this tree, but didnt realize it was the tree that carries Scopomine until I saw that documentary. Check it out on wikipedia, common english name is Angels Trumpet, 2 main versions of this plant. One is a tree, the other a plant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel's_trumpet

Lucho562 comments on Scopolamine (Devil's Breath) The real scary part is that the plant and trees are available here in USA. No ban whatsoever.

Lucho562 comments on G325a Question and letter 1. G325a - You will need to fill out all 4 sheets. Your fiance will need to fill out all 4 sheets. If you fill out the first one using Adobe, the other 3 should be automatically filled. And like CG said all 4 pages are individually numbered. 2. You will need a letter of intent, stating that you are free and willing to marry your fiance within 90 days upon arrival using the K1 Visa. The same goes for your fiance. So 2 seperate letters of intent. 3. Go to visajourney.com

Lucho562 comments on K - 1 Visa Like the others have said, go to the USCIS site and download the forms there. Go to visajourney.com to get info on how to fill and send out the forms. 2 forms that you will need are the I129F and G325A

Lucho562 comments on I'd live like a king off of 1000 USD a month in Quilla! I'd be at Lucitanias once a week for sure! Lucitanias is my favorite whore house in Quilla. Bunch of nice young cachacas and paisas work there. Melanie is my favorite, she's one hot paisa. Well after going there, i'd replenish with more beer, and chicharron, with bollos. Awe what a night. Elmo, get your kids to support your habit, booze and prepagos. That's why I plan on having at least 4 kids. Once I turn 50, they have to support my hobbies.

Lucho562 comments on COLOMBIAN in Orange County California... Tommy, Try Luis Market in Downey. Not too far from OC. It is a small south american market. They sell, postobon, aguilas, pony maltas, all the crap needed to make arepas and other stuff. Bunuelos etc. I know of about 4 or 5 Colombian restaurants in LA, none in OC that I know of.
