My therapy was at a very good location and had good grograms. I've had many sessions of PT in the States and this was equal. X-rays and understandable evaluation that I could understand, also done at top notch place. Recepionist and other employees polite and professional.

I pay about $40.00 per month. I'm 57 and got it when I was 56. So from what little I've paid I've had great treatment, 9 visits to my Doc,1 MRI of my spine, over 10 x-rays, PT, cheap meds... And the doctor speaks better English than many a foreign Doctor I had to put up with in the States. I haver 100% full bnody coverage in the States (no good here, except emergencies) and that is no problem here. I don't remember if I was asked when I made my app. All pre-existing conditions are allowed. Never have wited over 45 minutes for an appointment. Ha, the States is often 1 hour or more.

If the USA is so bad, I suggest giving up your citizen status. Life is change or get left behind. The US is hurting and the people really need to get furious and shut down the whole country for a day to demand change. The US will someday recover to a stronger more pro- active World participant. Just my 2 cents worth rambling.

Cartago = Lots of closings of established and new businesses, many vacancies, one woman downsized her operation 3 times before giving up, sister in law lost job, mother in law gets less sewing contracts, one neighbor on 1/2 time, many living without services, many receiving less help from families out of Colombia, aunt in law lost one of her part time jobs. Don't see the recovery here at all.

One of the reasons I left the States was that I had been pursued by a woman (former junior high classmate) nearly all my life. She is still trying to communicate with me. I've had to cancel nearly all my involvement with popular networking groups. Yep, I'll never understand how my wife can look so angry and be super insultive in an argument one moment and then 15 minutes later it's like nothing happened. Split personalities? Maybe, because some of her other behavior and actions are so different than the others and is instantanious. I see it in her eyes. So descriptive!.

This year my encounters with out of line real jerks has more than doubled. In all services, people in public, taxis, neighbors..... It really is starting to suck big time. Maybe time for some getting even. something I've never done before. In the states I could many a times legally smack or sued people for their actions done here. WTF!!!!!!!!

When the air is still and I'm relaxing out on the main patio, the aroma of the.various plants is devine! Have one very possesive humming bird who's not letting others into it's territory. Feed the birds out on the street out in front of the house and today had over 20 doves and 7 yellow canary like birds feeding at once. Do that in morning and night. Buy bulk feed at central gallery. Chirp, chirp, my humming bird is here now as I write. Somes times I get fly bys while in my room. Flys in one window and out the other. Zoom.

I have about 60 plants in various sized pots, some hanging. About 3/4 of them are always in bloom. Picked 6 tomatoes today, so sweet they taste like over grown cherry tomatoes. Started 6 more of those plants in pots. Plan to do more and sell to public/neighbors.. Often my rose plants will produce 3 buds on one stem. Had 4 buds on one the other day. 90% of my clones have rooted. Will be selling cloned plants too. All pots on rollers for maximum correct exposure and when needed to be moved in times of severe weather. My medicine plants are 6 feet tall, 3 females in different stage of flowering. One with purple stems. Hybred Sativa and Indica. Smells great. Wife loves the smell. Plus rack of others experimenting in pruning and pot size to control growth. Want to experiment with grafting. Next project is to construct planters for small exotic fruit trees, that I will grow on my upper patio. Want to do the upper patio in 1/2 shade cloth and 1/2 open area. Now spend 2-3 hours a day on plants and 4-6 with my daughter. Not much time for comouter these days. Cool. Life is good.

I didn't move to Colombia to be with the same people I'd previously been with. That didn't work for me there and won't here. I wanted and got a whole new start after messing up just about everything in my life before. Now, with a bit of guidance, I hope to not screw things up here. Cheers.

I paid 400K. Living room/entrance, 3 bedrooms, 1 utility room and a small kitchen. Doors finished wood and did not have them done. Sanded and filled all cracks, nail holes..... and 2 coats of paint throughout. They supplied all tools and other items to do the work. Just bought paint, plaster, tape.... Need to watch everything they do very close, tomake sure done how YOU want. You'll need to provide covering for your things to avoid damage. Supervise if you have them move things. Best if you move the things yourself, for less breakage. Only paid for work completed. No deposit or advance pay whatsoever.

Each city is different. In Cartago, very hot and dry, many men are using shorts. Even in some work situations. In Pereira I once wore shorts and it was obvious that the people didn't like it. I now wear pants. One must always respect the cultures of other people. You'll be better received.
