Lopezv comments on Así es Colombia, Quindio

Monpirri, thanks for the Quimbaya video! Man, did I party hard in Quimbaya... But to be honest I do not find it that pretty or attractive. Watching the video, I laughed a lot looking at all those cars, bikes, jeeps, zorras and bicycles committing all sorts of imprudent traffic moves. Nice!

Lopezv comments on Cesped en La Lineas?

Is it light grey? I have heard that it is some sort of moss or parasitic plant...I have seen it too. It's lots of fun to play with it. I once chucked it at my brother by surprise and it scared the cr*p out of him, as it looks like a huge hairy spider!

Lopezv comments on Colombian DVDs in UK

Get a multi-region DVD player. I have bought DVDS from Colombia, U.S etc, and they play just fine in the UK! I have seen some in Argos, and they are not that expensive! :-)

Lopezv comments on Uribe admits interest in a third term.

That's well scary...I usually try to stay away from expressing my political points of view, but at the end the decision is made by the people who vote, whether "Doctor Uribe" changes the rules or not.

Lopezv comments on Peter

Hi Peter, I recently joined the PBH Community and I am loving it! The only problem is that I would like to change my username. When I created my account I thought that my username was the one that I was going to use when logging in, not the nickname to appear when posting/replying, etc... I am not very happy with my username. Will it be possible for you to change it on my behalf, or is it better if I create a new account... Thanks for your help, Vicky

When's your next trip to Quindío, Monpirri? Trouble is I don't live there anymore. I am in "las extranjas", so it would be a little difficult for me to do so, otherwise, it would have been a pleasure! I can always ask friends of mine over there to be your tour guide on my behalf, how about that? ;-D Cheers! La Quindianita

Lopezv comments on Así es Colombia, Quindio

I am a quindianita! I went to Colombia last year and stayed in Bogota for over a week, and it was great; but after a few days I was dying to travel to Calarcá (my home town)! What I love the most about Quindío are all those beautiful mountains all around. But most of all, I love the people. We are so fun, so kind, so friendly! ;-)

Cheers Kat1! That was quick! :-) So you were trying to save some pesos ha??? It looks so beautiful there! My boyfriend would love it. He is English, and he was always been fascinated by the Dorado Legend. That's the main reason I want to take him there, it is going to be his first time in Colombia, so I want to make sure he has a good time. Can you do the trip in one day easily?

Lopezv comments on COMCEL SIM Cards

Thanks for the speedy response Rob77! Is just that I was dreading having to stand for an hour in the COMCEL shop/stall waiting for all my personal details and criminal records to be checked/ photocopied, and on top of that, to wait about 5 hours to have the mobile number activated (I had a rough time trying to buy one last year). I guess it depends of where I buy the SIM Card from. Is it better to go to the authorised shops, the independent distributors, or those tiny stands outside shops, supermarkets...? You make sense though, I will be better off just by buying a new one with some credit on it...So help me God! LOL :-) Many thanks again!
