"deep pocketed colombians travel to the same destinations deep pocketed gringos do: NYC, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Cabo San Lucas, Buenos Aires, Hawaii, Bahamas... You'd be suprised at the number of Colombians travelling to Israel and Vatican City during easter/xmas.." "It depends, Going to FINCAS is the most common. If they only have a week, they go to Cartagena or San Andres, Cuba, Mexico. Longer vacations they go to Europe, India, Russia, S.A. USA. My family, visits me often and then we all travel around like Northern California, Arizona, La Vegas. Some of my brothers visit their children living in Italy, France, Marcella, and Spain, Barcelona, and they all go from there to other counties. I guess just like anyone here in the states that can afford it" Do we need to repeat this over and over!?!!

Lisa Zee comments on Where do well to do Colombians vacation? I guess you expect to pick the Colombians out of the crowd, maybe they were not the Indian type or with a ruana y carriel. I have lived in Paris, and have my best Colombian friends living there. My brothers have children living in France and Spain, and they visit 2 to 3 times a year. Most of my family, has been in every country in Europe. My mother visit me in Paris and London. I guess we did not have the Colombian flag or campesino look. Let`s see how many Colombians will be marching this July 20 in Europe!

I am all alone here.....I was born and raised in Medellin! Most of my adult life I have lived out of Colombia. ALL my family is in Colombia!. Lisa Zee comments on Regionalismo! Yo me acuerdo en los viajes a Juanchaco/Ladrilleros en el barco cantando con alguien que tocaba guitarra, y las rancheras eran las que todos se sabían! LOL. Es que muchos de los que quieren tanto a Colombia, no nacieron allí y los que nacieron se trajeron a la mama, el papa, el hermano, el tío, la abuela, el perro, el mico, el loro, entonces no tienen donde ir, y se la pasan es, defendiendo a Colombia "a capa y espada" y ni saben que dichos tenemos, o las costumbres de verdad, porque solo han ido unas cuantas veces. Y al que le caiga el guante que se lo chante carajo!

El Colombiano en el extranjero que cree que todo el mundo en Colombia es un indio patirrajado, que en Colombia no hay gente educada, de plata, con clase y con visa. Normalmente es una persona de una familia colombiana de bajos recursos que no tuvo muchas oportunidades en Colombia y cree que todo el mundo en Colombia pasa los mismos trabajos (o falta de este) que su familia. Cada vez que tomo un avion a Colombia me encuentro con un especimen de este estilo...un tipo / loba mas Colombiano (a) que la arepa, que vive en el ghetto de NYC y viaja a Colombia a subir su autoestima o a ponerse tetas."

I am sick of them now because I live in "MEXIFORNIA". You just did not noticed the Rancheras before. Tenes que ir cuando yo este alla y te llevo a los pueblitos bellos y las fincas, y veras que bella es Antioquia. Toda Colombia es bella, su campo sobretodo. No me gustan las ciudades mucho.
