Lisa Zee comments on What happened to the wheelchair project? There is a big difference with G S's story and Johnny's. Johnny did take the chair and did what he said he was going to do, but he was not allowed to take it, lost his flight, and had to stay another day, bummer!. ( sorry Johnny ;) All I said about G S was that he said he will take one and then changed his mined, after I had been running around to ship the W CH. He should not offer to take one, because he NOW knows it is very difficult, it won't fit in his car, to busy with kids etc. There is no reason to insult or get nasty. WE JUST NEED A BETTER PLAN. #1 is to find out the rules **before planning to take a chair in an airplane**. Thanks to all the ones that have helped. "CAN WE ALL JUST GET ALONG?"
Lisa Zee comments on What happened to the wheelchair project? Pretty much that is what happened. Best thing is for you not to offer anymore you want to take a chair. It is very difficult I know. Not your fault.

Lisa Zee comments on What happened to the wheelchair project? "1) If I'd known ahead of time, or.... if the people who put this "project (?)" together would have had information ahead of time, I would have happily taken a wheelchair to Colombia this past March. (some of us work.... sometimes, 10 hours a day or more)" G S: I think you don't remember that I had a W chair ready to go to you. I spend lots of time finding a shipping place, and a OK from Peter for the shipping $, you gave me all your info, and then, you said you could not take it?. this was a while back. I am very frustrated with all my fail intents. W. CH. are very expensive in Colombia!.

Lisa Zee comments on Univalle ladron........ I will, but things like these, makes me sick!. I remember few times I experience this in Medellin. I never want to witness anything like that!
Lisa Zee comments on Univalle ladron........ Que horror!, que brutalidad! When I think that these things happen in Colombia, it makes me not to want to go. And what if he is innocent?. Poor guy!

Lisa Zee comments on Near Death Experience with Brasilia WOW you are brave! those buses are coffins with wheels! I hate them. They have been like that for ever! Sorry to hear about your bad experience. "He called me a fucking Gringo and told me I had no rights in his country." I never thought I would here that in Colombia!, LOL. Sorry but it is funny, just that part, the rests is very dangerous, you must speak perfect Spanish!
Lisa Zee comments on What happened to the wheelchair project? "Somebody" we don't know who, took the chairs and that all I know. So my chair is MIA!! I hear ya D!. Jonas will get back to me, he reads here, but with all this blah, blah, who knows if he has time to read 100 post of bickering.
Lisa Zee comments on What happened to the wheelchair project? Now I wonder what happened to my wonderful chair that was sitting in a garage in Florida?, waiting to be taken to Colombia. Johnny tried once and could not take it.
IF ANYONE LOOKS AT THIS THREAD WITH INTENTION TO HELP, THEY WILL BE SCARED AWAY WITH ALL THE NONSENSE!!!

Lisa Zee comments on Finding Peace in Colombia OMG! Who has the time for this?,----------- Que ridiculo. This is giving sooooooooooooooo much importance to Darloup, wow Darloup, can I be your friend, can I have your autograph?
Lisa Zee comments on Finding Peace in Colombia I see, i had no idea, I am more interested in threads about Colombia, and its beauty I do NOT attack anyone, unless... (I'll use your words): "a long series of smart-assed comments that are intended to be hurtful."...keep coming to me, from people I have never interacted, ever before. It is very difficult to keep track of so many "personalities" here changing names all the time. "How come you get away with that, when others had to change less racy avatars ?"I have seen so many scary, gross, vulgar avatars. If I offend anyone, you, please let me know. "..I doubt it. You just want the opportunity to remark that this insult is paltry. "OK, if you say so. I guess you do not know me at all. I just want peace and everyone getting alone.
Lisa Zee comments on Finding Peace in Colombia Yes I am clueless, but my real question is WHERE??? where? what did he said that has everyone so upset??????????????
Lisa Zee comments on Finding Peace in Colombia Pardon me, am I clueless? I don't see what Daloup said that is so bad, ray says still here, where?. thanks just curious;)))

Lisa Zee comments on Miss Colombia - Bikini parade photos If you are streaming the contest can you please post it, anybody? gracias
Lisa Zee comments on I guess you read my post. I do imagine my grandma when she was in her 20ths. It did not look oval like a bath tub (tina) it was a shower and made of tiles, outside in the garden and you could fill it up like a small pool that you would walk down few steps I remember how much fun I would have as a little girl.
Lisa Zee comments on Finding Peace in Colombia I second that Mono... It is a wonderful article! thanks kat. Why are we so negative?. We have to understand his way of writing, and appreciate this article. We have not been in the news of papers with positive articles like this one, they are rare and very seldom. I love the way he writes.

Lisa Zee comments on Low Fares to Colombia A girl friend in Florida told me, you have to pay for your luggage, food, and you can not bring your own!?. She flew to Medellin with Avianca few weeks ago for $250.00!

Lisa Zee comments on When is the next Santa Marta Meetup? That would be difficult, I never met him, and I would be coming from Medellin. You can send him an invite.
Lisa Zee comments on ???, no frogs, oh maybe a big frog, then he turned into a fine prince! jajajaja
Lisa Zee comments on The old houses in Colombia they all had bath tubs. My grandmas had a beautiful one, it was out in the patio, with flowers all around, you would go down like 7 steps to the water. It was more like a small pool.
Lisa Zee comments on PCL.... don't forget the candles, wine, and some soothing music in the background!! Especially on a cold day!! And hopefully the tub is big enough for 2!!!
Woohoo, if this tub could talk..... jejejeje

Lisa Zee comments on What does it take to sell property in Medellin? What about some pics? I like living in houses, for me a yard is a must!. The problem with having a house in COl is that you can never leave it alone, you must hire a "cuidandero" when you are not home for a weekend of longer.

Lisa Zee comments on Fellow PBHers And the perrita (humm am I allow to say that word?) will have 2 puppies and a grandma to support ;)

Lisa Zee comments on where can i buy a pig in medellin OK I will. My only gripe is the way they are killed at the marraneras.
Lisa Zee comments on where can i buy a pig in medellin Pigs are very intelligent, many people have them as pets. I just don't like the way the pigs are killed in Marranadas in Colombia. Very cruel. I witness many when growing up, but now I would not want any part of it. The Intelligent Pig: The Smartest Domestic Animal in The World ... Intelligence research was done with pigs in the 1990s. One of the experiments was to train the pigs to move the cursor on a video screen with their snouts. ... http://www.goveg.com/f-hiddenlivespigs.asp Pigs Are Friends, Not Food! Pigs on today’s farms are denied their every desire; they never run across sprawling pastures, bask in the sun, breathe fresh air, or do anything else that comes naturally to them. Mother pigs (sows) spend most of their lives in tiny “gestation” crates, which are too small for them to turn around in. They are continually impregnated until they are slaughtered. Piglets are taken away from their distraught mothers after just a few weeks, and their tails are chopped off, the ends of their teeth are snipped off with pliers, and the males are castrated. No painkillers are given to ease their suffering. Because of improper stunning methods, many pigs are still alive when they are dumped into scalding-hot water, which is intended to remove their hair and soften their skin. When they’re killed, male pigs are still babies, only about 6 months old. Since their natural life span is 6 to 9 years, they never mature to enjoy a full life. On any given day in the United States, about 1,000 pigs are killed every hour. The average American meat-eater is responsible for the abuse and deaths of approximately 31 pigs. Lisa Zee comments on What happened to the wheelchair project? Where is JOHNNY09???. This is very confusing. Johnny's friend had the chairs in her garage in Florida. he just told me few days ago that "someone"? picked the chairs form her garage, presumably Douglas? to give them to ujay?. Now Douglas said he does not know anything about it?. I am very confused. Too much missed information!

Lisa Zee comments on 2-way ignore MaB. you are so sweet, I wonder why you went swimming?! This is just one tiny example.... MaBarker says on Oct 31, 2009, 21:41: flag "Darloup, who in the world would want to chat with you, you website wrecker! Simon? Rikito? Greg Yohn? Bushwick-Bill? The five of you should get a yahoo chat page and charm each other and leave us the fok alone." Not very *lady* like..... Please do not rant for too long, I am out the door. See ya precious. muahhh.

Lisa Zee comments on Brians: I wanted to have a girls SO bad, but when my son was born, he melted my heart. Girls have a very strong bond with dad. You will be amazed how fun you boy will be. He will be your best friend. But brace yourself for when he is a toddler!, Boys can not sit still for a minute! If you race your kids in Colombia, you won't have that terrible teenager attitude that most teens have here.

Lisa Zee comments on What happened to the wheelchair project? I still have one more chair in my garage, the one that pedro could not take. If anyone is going from Los Angeles to Colombia or even to Florida, contact me please.

Lisa Zee comments on Homeless dogs in Barranquilla. What can be done about the problem? G S......................... "they probably wouldn't believe how badly behaved you are (sometimes)." Don't you have anything better to say. I wish you leave me alone!.
Lisa Zee comments on Aren't there lovely flowers in Colombia WHO? Are you looking for trouble?, are you jealous?.
Lisa Zee comments on Homeless dogs in Barranquilla. What can be done about the problem? "How are things in other Colombian large cities?" Well in PBH city, the nasty, BIG mouth, obnoxious dogs get sent to the fish bowl! jejejeje.....
Lisa Zee comments on Homeless dogs in Barranquilla. What can be done about the problem? How sad!. I do not want to see that, I would adopt them all. I can believe how well behave they are, better than some spoil rich dogs.
