Best free websites for learning Spanish

My favorite websites for learning Spanish. Wish someone had given me this list when I was starting out.

1. WordReference.com: An unusually comprehensive dictionary with an extensive set of forums where intelligent native speakers will comment on usage questions.

2. Spanish5000.com: By far the best site for learning Spanish vocabulary online, since it teaches words in context so that you absorb grammar at the same time you learn how to use the vocabulary you're studying.
3. NotesInSpanish.com: A broad range of dialogues at varying levels of difficulty, presented in high-quality professional recordings.

All of these are free sites, although the last charges for premium services.

www.diccionarios.com is the best Spanish dictionary site on the web. It is provided by Larousse, the company that publishes one of the most widely used Spanish dictionaries.

In addition to a Spanish dictionary tool, the site has thesaurus and verb conjugation lookups. It also has word translation dictionaries between Spanish and several other languages.

They give you quite a few free searches a month. After you use those up, you are supposed to subscribe. It is probably worth it, but if you don't want to pay, you can just erase the diccionarios.com cookies. If you use Firefox, it is very easy to do, no that it is difficult in IE.

I'm so hip, I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis.
