A response to my post about going to Colombia to marry my Colombian Fiance (I am American) it was suggested that I contact you. I was told by my attorney that my fiance could be here in less than two years. I also heard from others that he may never be allowed here or at least a 10 year wait since he was deported for staying beyond his visa limits. He has recently left the detention center in Elizabeth, NJ and is now in Colombia. He has no criminal record. We have been engaged for over a year, but waited too long for our wedding. Could you point me in the right direction. I want to marry him asap, but we want to live in the states. Thank you!
