JAJAJA What is so fishy about it? I have a lot of friends on line I am colombia and live in Barranquilla... People come to me asking questions because I am a translator for men who come to colombia to marry colombian women.
I have no idea if you need or not a permit to enter USA if you are canadian, I am basing my question from what people ask or tell me I see how much you guys know and that is why I ask.

Hay muchas parejas casadas en USA que han usado mis servicios de traduccion y a traves de ellos conosco mas personas.

Ella vive en Miami y quiere casarse con su novio solo tengo entendido que se paso de un permiso o su estadia pero si es una visa o si es un permiso a lo mejor es solo mal uso del termino.

Como yo no vivo en USA le pregunto a las pesonas que saben.

About Dongringo well He was out of line from my point of view and I have seen alot girls doing that but I have seen alot of guys ghanging on there girls once there up there ...I am a transaltor and I worked for an agency i have seen it all....

Well like I have been saying I think the best is to come back home but Ireally wanted to know if she had another way out of the shame of facing peple...

I am not sure of waht is going on in thier relationship there are 2 sides of the story... One thing I know she is not a goldigger...
She just think she feels very disappointed.
I amnot sure if has expressed not marry her but there seems to be a lot of tension.. like you said when is typical for the guy to do everything as soon as possible to make sure that his woman won't leave.... he does not seem to care

I really just wanted to make sure I could get as much answers for her as possible....But at the end it is he desicion....

I am sure Miguel that she does not want his money and I am sure She wnats to come home.. but Getting that far to come home empty handed it is always Veyr hard...

From waht I know she was going to school in the usa and she came back home to see her sick dad and she lost her student visa she did not care and she lived in Colombia until she met her b/f last year. Her time is almost up and she is thinking how she will make it the rest of the year .. with out a job down here...

The woman happens to be a very smart girl who gave that asswhole the opportunity to live in Colombia but she sold it all to follow his stupid ass....Now it all has become a living nightmare for her....


I want an opinion from a real MAN with a real antena not a"chito" who cares about helping others not from a selfish pig point of view.. sorry if you haven't had a good share of good women....

Hey !!!!! They say you need 4 pics but you really need 6 in total. 1 for the lab, 3 for the doctos office and 2 for the forms.
Make sure that they spell her name correcttly every place she goes..
Yes you can do all 3 things the same day....
She beter have all of her Vaccines before she goes to the doctor she can get them at the RED CROSS in her city, it will speed up things.
It is raining a lot in Bogota so Don`t forget a good umbrella, a warm jacket and a pair of tennis shoes or boots...
The Embassy is very cold too, you wait in a open space patio.
They use colors to separete the tourist visa amppicants from the resident ones (same color for fiance visa ones) it is a long prosseces and you bettere be on time,if your cellphone has a camara better leave it at home they will not let it in.
Her name will be called in several times and for some people it takes a long time between each call.
They receive your papers and on the last call they ask a lot of questions.
Where did you meet?
How many times have you seen each other?
Phone records, photos..
Well best of luck and lots of patience.
P.S.Yes the visa applicants did have to wait until the 17th for their visa!!!

I have A question They are giving the visas the next day right?
But the girl has the appointment on the 12th so the question is the next day will be the 13th and it is Jueves Santo will the embassy work on this date or will she have to wait until the 17th (Monday) after semana santa is over, to get her visa.

I can add one thing when you call the doctors ofice they will ask when is your appointment and they will work out an appointment about 2 days before the embassy visit for you.

I am real sorry to hear about the little girl.. it is always so hard to deal with the death of a young one...

They Will never be the same!!!! Colombian actors break with every pattern, we rarely have the town Fortune Witch in our stories, unlike the Venezuelan soaps. I think I am not wrong when i say there is one in every soap.
I think some of the humor will be lost in translation. ¨Pedro el Escamoso¨ How will the song be.... pirulin ping-pong ???? La misma camisa y el mismo pantalon, that was a hit !!!

Too much for American Golf Not what I espected, try Hacienda Santa Ines, it is 110.000 small apts. Majestic is also good, I did not like the rooms as much.
There are two small new hotels and the look like they will have good prices.
Now prices have gone up.

Barranquilla is fun, fun ,fun Ok There are many cool places to go in Barranquilla so I would not worry about Clubs.... Malls... Movies all you want....
Beahces Oh well.... I like to go to the beach but they are not the best ones, Puerto Colombia beaches are a bit dirty. Las palyas del country are good. But Hotel Prado Mar are ok For Sunday sun.
But there are palces like Santa veronica, Puerto velero, Caño Dulce they are good for a day trip.Not a n every weekend thing.

Cool!!!! Well, Barranquilla is very safe, like any city in the world you have to know where to go an to not go. The best is to stay norht of the city at the beginning.

But I concider Barranquilla closer to North University.

I live in Puerto Colombia a small beach town very small and I do not like it. There is nothing to do.
Barranquilla has the movies, big store,Libreries, book stores, malls and Puerto has nothing but a beach were you can go on weekends.
And if you are in Barranquilla until late having fun then you will have to take a taxi which is not a good idea it costs around US$ 10.00 plus the gringo tax jajaja
I know you are not a gringo but you will still get it!!

or crash at someones house, if you know any one.

Eventually you will have a life and friends down here and would like to have fun sometimes right?

There are plenty of Rooms to rent near the street that leads you to the University and an apts. (norht of town of course)you will have to check it out because some owners ask for a co-signer so I think that you can just rent a small room or what we call a Aparta-estudio which is a very small apt with a kitchen .
The University should help you with a letter of recomendation stateing you work for them so people know you are serious.
I think for a couple of days you should stay at a hotel until you can get a room or apt. and you learn your way around, which i promis it won´t take long and before you start clases you will already know how to get to work.
READ ALL YOU CAN ABOUT BARRANQUILLA!!!!

La verdad.... Como comente en mi pasado Post, Eso causa mucho dolor.
Yo vivo en Barranquilla y para mi es muy segura.
Por otro lado todo lugar tiene sus sitios, gente y lado oscuro. Tengo muchas preguntas en cuanto a este caso.. todo me parece muy raro empezando que en nuestra sociedad una persona tan pudiente no se baja en el Centro de la ciudad. Cualquier persona que viene del exterior no se mete en el monte para nada y que conste que esto no se trata de guerrilla péro la falta de informacion mato a esta persona. Trabajo para personas que vienen a nuestro pais a divertirse, a inveritir y lo mejor es informar ovbiamente este pobre hombre se confio de personas inescropulosas.
Esto es algo que se puede evitar si tiene toda la informacion.
Espero no haberme salido del tema pero es lo que pienso.
Los Colombianos no podemos ser juzgados por la accion de unso pocos.
