Born in: Pitcairn
Has traveled in: Colombia, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Central/Eastern Europe
Wants to travel to: So America, E. Europe again soon.
Favourite traveling style: Going across the Atlantic/Pacific in a canoe...seriously, by air the quickest way and second by Porsche Air Quickest way to travel without wings)...Get togethers with local Porsche clubs for outings and touring the country sides.
About (hobbies etc...) Love adventure and traveling to new destinations, living life on the edge (To a certain degree), in the bad lands of Colombia. Open minded to "most" anything, trying new foods, inter-mixing (hmm) with the locals, making new friends and sharing. Desire much of a quiet life with friends and family in Central SW Colombia drinking local Ron Viejo rum & inhaling Aguadiente Antioqueno, and to be left alone without any bureaucratic bull shit, as one sees in the west!!!

lampltr... do you read you're personal messages?
I'll ask some folks tomorrow about the palm oil.
I already know what they're gonna say: 'never tried; never will'
But, maybe you'll make a nice discovery, there.

You still live in the NE?
I'm not Cajun; just live 'amongst 'em' ;)

goin south...appreciate the message, yes I do have a glance at my messages and do make some comments. Actually believe I responded to your last one but same time I am many hours (Europe) ahead of you.
I decided today I will use this oil you meantioned as this should add a nice flavor but same time to provide a quick singe to the outside of the bird to seal the juices in.
People are crazy if the come up with the excuse of never will...frying leaves an unbelievable taste especially when used with Cajun marinated sauce injected the day prior. And chicken ummm, need I say anymore jaja.

I vacated the U.S. the first opportunity I had for employment overseas. I love to atmosphere and the calmness. Desire european and latin american living the best with no plans of going back (except to visit). Thanks for your reply!!

but, we'll work to get the trout out of the 'moderation' category... along with Lowell.
Hey, I only got to Laguna de la Coche once.... didn't get to fish it, but had some trout dinners at one of the lil restaurants at the road to the dock. A real Nice Alpine feel to that place... no snow, but.... you could take care of that. That was two years ago. I'm not real sure whether or not the security or lack thereof, has decreased/increased... in that area or not.

Much appreciate the edification MS....however circumstances dictate otherwise (sad to say). No rest for the weary as the saying goes. I can only thank God that my wife and I were lead to each other and I am able to better their lives before the quick sand. Someday I may come forth and describe what has happened but issues currently at hand dictate otherwise as well as secrecy in this beautiful country we all absorbed. I can take the heat and all the obstacles at hand, but my beautiful wife gives me much positive vibes and this keeps me on track and focused. Hope to meet you all real soon...appreciate all the comments, good and bad jaja, chao!!
